Top Trade should be giving out lessons on how to run a business. From the initial contact to going over and above their scope of work to repair a leak in our roof to their honest and fair pricing to their thorough follow up with pictures of the completed job . Just to top it off all of this was completed while we were out of BC. We couldn't recommend these folks enough.

Yesterday I had a recommendation from our electrician, to have Top Trade look at a problem in our attic. David called right away and set up an appointment for today. Fastest service ever! David arrived right on time and quickly assessed the situation. He took lots of pictures and sent to me immediately, and made recommendations on what needed to be done. He took the time to explain very carefully what he found. Very professional and such a wonderful person to deal with. I was shocked when he told me the call was at no charge. The whole experience with Top Trade was top notch and pleasant. They will certainly be our go to attic specialists in the future.

Top Trade Insulation and Attic is Fantastic! I was concerned I had mold in the attic of our home in Victoria. I called Top Trade Insulation and Attic and booked an attic inspection. Hector came out quickly and did a thorough investigation. I’m 83 years old and 6’ 3” tall, so I certainly didn’t want to be up on the ladder banging my head on rafters while concerned I’d take one wrong step and fall through my ceiling. Hector did find ventilation issues and mold, he took about 40 photographs, and gave us the full inspection report. I decided to take care of the issues and upgrade my attic insulation from R30 to R50 while also fixing the ventilation issues which caused the trouble. The best part was that we qualified for rebates (I wouldn’t have known if they hadn’t told me), so it ended up being a very reasonable upgrade which will even save me cash on heating moving forward. Reed, Victor and Abdullah handled the work up in the attic and they did a fantastic job! They even took photos of the completed work so I could see what was done, both before and after. It is wonderful to know that REAL SERVICE still exists and that a team of people can come together and take such great care of customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Top Trade Insulation and Attic!!!

Amazing people and amazing service. We had Top Trade come out to top up our insulation, add baffles & replace existing ones, do mold control, fix vent pipes and the vents themselves, and add an attic fan. They did a wonderful job and were extremely cautious of our new carpeting and paint job. We had an unexpected leak after they left and they were back within 1 day to repair it for us. David provided me with a very comprehensive quote, include venting my bathroom fans through the roof, which other attic insulation companies were not willing to do, and spraying the mold. Met David from Top Trade Insulation and Attic at the Home Show, we talked about upgrading the insulation in our attic.

David gave us a good estimate, and we thought we would qualify for the CleanBC grant to cover part of the cost. Top Trade is one of the approved contractors for the program.

The crew arrived in the morning to start what I thought might be a two-day job, but they started at 9 AM and were done by 3PM. The crew cleaned up after themselves and left the house as clean as when they arrived. Peter helped sort out the bureaucracy of the government program and helped get us a grant that paid for more than half of the costs.

We recently had Top Trade address a number of issues in our attic, including some mold, poor ventilation and insufficient insulation in some areas. We were very impressed with the professionalism shown by David and the installation crew. David attended, conducted and completed an inspection of our attic and took photos to document the issues and prepared both a quote and work plan. He was knowledgeable in explaining the benefits of remediating the mold, improving the ventilation and adding the required insulation. He also took the time to outline the process for applying for the provincial grants available to us.

The installation crew showed up right as scheduled and were also very friendly and professional and took the time to explain what they were doing. Peter, the owner, also stopped by to support the crew and answer any questions we had. All the work was completed in one day and they provided us with photographs to clearly show everything they had done. They left the area clean and tidy. We were very happy with the finished work.

David came at our invitation to do a free inspection. He examined out attic and declared it excellently insulated with no need for additional insulation or ventilation as long as our extractor fan was working properly. He also provided some tips on improving the seal and insulation around our access hatch, things we could easily do ourselves. He provided peace of mind at no cost and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. We will certainly give him a call when we need to replace the attic fan.
