• Clean BC Better Homes Insulation Rebates

  • You can receive up to $5,500 in rebates for installing insulation in your home.
  • Attic insulation alone qualifies for up to a $900 rebate.
  • This is the easiest rebate process to qualify for.
  • Top Trade Insulation and Attic is an Approved Contractor under this program.

• Clean BC Better Homes Income Qualified Program

  • You can receive 60% or even 95% of your insulation upgrade costs paid for based on income qualifications.
  • Rebate coverage is based on the combined income of all adults in your home and how many people live in your home.
  • The lower the household income is, the more likely you can qualify for a large rebate.
  • Top Trade Insulation and Attic is an Approved Contractor under this program.

• Canada Greener Homes Grant

  • The Canada Greener Homes Grant is no longer accepting new applicants in all provinces.

Some municipalities are offering additional benefits, so check with your local programs:

• City of Nanaimo Rebate Top-Up

  • City of Nanaimo $150 for an initial incentive plus $10 per 5 GJ/year reduction on the EnerGuide rating scale, to a maximum of $200 for a follow-up assessment. Budget was fully subscribed for 2023 but has now resumed in 2024.
